Engagement Manager
IPM.ai is searching for an Engagement Manager to lead multiple, parallel consulting engagements leveraging Real World Data. Given the growth of the company, the role will encompass both client-facing delivery as well as internal coordination responsibilities. This role is a ‘bridge’ between sales and delivery—translating retained engagements for the operations team for execution, managing ongoing project delivery and ‘evolving’ client expectations, maintaining proactive and consistent communication across client and delivery teams, supporting the sales via strategic ideation on qualifying opportunities, as well as translating support specifications and the subsequent development of delivery-related presentations. A seasoned understanding of the evolving pharmaceutical market (precision medicine, value based reimbursement, patient level data integration, etc.) and client-facing communication skills/language coupled with sound technical capabilities is critical to success.

You’ll design and develop strategies, methodologies, and project plans for leveraging Real World Evidence and Real World Insights to deliver against client requirements. Count on facilitating and managing all project communication needs, including internal and client-facing communications; preparing and leading client meetings and workshops, including self-guided research, preparation of meeting materials, meeting delivery, and follow-ups; and working to manage a client portfolio for which you will develop the highest quality client deliverables in a matrix environment.

You have a business or data-focused Masters degree or higher (MBA, Masters of Data Science, or similar) in addition to 10+ years working in a professional environment dealing with healthcare claims, healthcare/life sciences analytical consulting, and/or commercial operations; a proven track record of increasing responsibilities in the area of client engagement and client communications; competency in leading discussions with large groups, and driving consensus across different stakeholders; a great understanding of medical claims data and codes, and applicability to the challenges of the life sciences industry; and a high competency with Excel, including the ability to manage large data sets by e.g. sorting, pivoting, and interrogating using logic and text functions.
Director of Analytics

We’re searching for a key member of our growing team to set strategic direction/vision and be responsible for the development, implementation, quality, and effectiveness of analytics projects. You’ll propose and implement innovative approaches to meet our clients’ objectives using appropriate analytical frameworks and incorporate fata from a variety of data sources to make available business intelligence for our clients’ knowledge-based decision making. You must be able to demonstrate creativity in the design and analysis of projects and interpretation of results; serve as internal subject matter expert on all things health-care claims data; train/educate existing staff (analytics/operations and account management); and assist in presenting quantitative methodologies and analyses results to internal and external clients as needed. You’ll be conducting data retrieval, analysis and QC of data, as well as serve as claims data SME, combining your therapeutic-area knowledge to facilitate the sales process and assist with any claims/secondary data based objections.

You should have a master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Market Research, Operations Research, Programming, Mathematics or Statistics with 10+ years’ experience in an analytical position, preferably in the healthcare industry, with emphasis on data analysis, data integration and quality assurance. We require demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical secondary data assets, to be conversant in advanced analytics solutions and experience working directly with brands, analytics functions, and leadership teams at any level of a pharma organization. You should be comfortable working in hands-on execution mode combined with the ability to delegate and lead. We’ll be looking for a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with superior organizational logistics, and time management skills. Working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; the drive to multitask; and the ability to communicate concisely and meaningfully with internal and external clients is necessary. Travel is 20% (regionally) to support client engagements

Senior Health Data Engineer
We’re searching for a contributor to own the transformation of real-world data to provide solutions to address evolving business questions. You’ll support a scalable framework for data collection, extraction, reporting, and analysis; independently research and procure core knowledge in specific therapeutic areas to optimize methodology in data manipulation and processing; mine data to extract insights that drive business decisions; execute data querying, data cleansing, and experiment design; and build internal tools with supportive documentation for projects and process flows.
You have the knowledge and a basic understanding of the fundamental processes of pharmaceutical and medical device industries; an avid interest in healthcare analytics, technology, and clinical data; strong attention to detail with capabilities in multi-tasking in a dynamic working environment; and superior interpersonal and communication skills. We prefer prior experience in forecasting, statistics, predictive modeling, primary/secondary market research, technology & applications, healthcare IT, managed markets, management consulting, sales force effectiveness, sales operations, business intelligence, epidemiology, HEOR, and/or data mining. You should have SQL expertise; the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop functions; and excellent problem solving and debugging skills. We prefer an MS degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Associate Principal Western Region
Delivery We’re searching for a teammate to lead multiple, parallel consulting engagements leveraging medical claims and Rx data to address client needs. Given the growing state of the company, the role will encompass both external, client-facing responsibilities as well as internal coordination responsibilities. The delivery role will involve the translation of sold engagements to the operations team for execution, while simultaneously managing ongoing project delivery and ‘evolving’ client expectations and maintaining proactive and consistent communication across client and delivery teams. Responsibilities will include the design of strategies, methodologies and project plans for leveraging medical claims data to deliver against client needs; facilitating and managing all project communication needs, including client-facing communications and internal communications; serving as a single point of contract with Principals, Clients, Sales Leads and the Operations team; maintaining appropriate scope for ongoing client engagements and follow-ups, while managing a portfolio of client engagements; developing the highest quality client deliverables in a hands-on role in a matrix environment; and deriving insight and creating insights to address client needs/questions, with comfort delivering presentations to brand/analytics teams within client organizations. The role also proactively identifies and qualifies leads, supporting the Principal and sales teams on qualified opportunities as well as translation into sales-related presentations. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with existing clients and contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, developing interest for IPM.ai offerings, and translate it to sales opportunities; identifying opportunities and work with Principal and sales team to qualify and pursue sales leads; designing strategies and methodologies to deliver against client needs, and translating into compelling sales materials and assisting the Principal and Sales Lead in managing client relationships as well as identifying upselling opportunities.

Given the wide range of responsibilities, a seasoned understanding of the evolving pharmaceutical market (precision medicine, value-based reimbursement, patient-level data integration, etc.) and client-facing communication skills/language coupled with sound technical capabilities/competency is critical to success. Travel within the region is estimated at 25%.
